Hi Dave,

             Sounds like your starting to get over you "GA thoughts" and back thinking of what your gonna do to gitter back in the air....



  The close-up picture that you sent me of the shaft really shows where the shaft has been fractured half way already ( rusted ) 



  It might have been like that when you bought it....



 When you put a Gearbox on , you'll be able to lower your Engine back down to stock height....Then it should "Fold" properly....
