Hey Guys,
On short trips , it doesn't bother me ...But on my longest
Cross Country ( 400 Miles ) ....Well, longest so far...

I noticed that I needed a little "lower back support"..I used a towel once,
but it didn't really work very good.....

While I was at work....I was sitting in the break room one day....
We have the office "OLD" swivel/rolling chairs.....

I noticed this "Bulb" hanging from the chairs....
They have a blatter inside , and the bulb will inflate or de-flate it....

Man, do they got those things GLUED in there.... I put a couple of holes in it because I was trying to get it out without pulling off the back of the chair.....Which I had to do anyway.... Holes are fixed now...

Well, I'm gonna have "Lumbar Support" in my Firestar.....Cool

" Little Details"

.
Gotta Fly...

Great idea Mike, being indoors from the bitter cold does have its advantages. Lots of neat improvements to that firestar this winter ! ( Kolb should look hard at that full enclosure ). I bet its not only warmer, and quieter, but also faster when its fully enclosed.

Hi Mike,
The full enclosure "isn't" enclosed yet.....I'm at a standstill til I can push it out and set up the wings so I can see how to swing the doors.

I just finished my Lumbar support, I'll be posting the pictures and process
on the Wings forum ( I have a collection going there )

Real good idea, Mike. I bought a temper foam seat from Oregon Aero for
another project, and wound up using the zip on lumbar support in the Baja
Bug. Works VEry well, but very spendy. Lar.

They are temper-foam, but very spendy. Oregon Aero builds a very good
product, but you sure pay for them. Lar. Do
not Archive.
