				Good Day All,

I just received the two metal tubes that I will insert into my upper engine mounts for my XS. I believe that I read in one of the past emails that some folks here in the USA have offered to loan out their 16.5 mm reamer to keep others from having to buy one just for this one task. Is that offer still available? I am in Northern Calif and can accomplish the task the same day I receive the reamer and can forward it or return it as needed.

Has anyone thought about maybe putting together a little kit consisting of the reamer, a small amount of ACF50, and etch primer paint that could be circulated to members that might need it. Just a thought.

				Mike-

I will shortly be in the same fix. I just did a web search and found a 16.5 MM reamer at Machine Shop Discount supply for $ 26.85. For that price, it may just be worth buying one.

BTW, also doing a Jab. 3300, tri gear.

				All
has anyone managed to cool a Jab 3300 properly yet? I know a couple who
haven't but it can only be a matter of persuading the cooling air to go
 through the fins I suspect?

				Graham-

Andy is marketing his own FWF kit for the 3300 and the comments I have heard are very good. I think Flight Crafters has installed several quite successfully.

				Graham,
Like Tommy Cooper said "Just like that ", took me 6b.... years of
fannying about and the last flight was the most uniform across all 6
cylinders.... then the bloody nose wheel fell off !
Yes in principle you are correct "persuading " is near the mark but you
missed the last sentence......"and having enough left to cool No's 5 and
 6!"

				Thanks Jim
There are some guys who bought one with no involvement in the build and
I hear that the rate of climb is only 300 fpm and it overheats at that.
Something badly wrong there. I'll chase up Flightcrafters if they
 approach me for help.
AFAIK there is only one successful Jab Europa over here.
