I am still trying to get information on what I should order an from where. need throttle ,choke cable Assembly . need everything from cockpit to carburetors. for kitfox 5 with rotax 912ul. is there any model 5 drivers that can give me some input. thanks gerry

Gerry,
First place to look for parts for your Kitfox would be John McBean and friends over at the Kitfox factory. Great people with lots of knowledge and parts for our planes. Do you need their contact information?

Sky Star previously sold the throtle assembly, Mine is a common vernier throtle that I cut to fit. It only has to reach the spliting mechanism. Choke assemblies can be had at various motorcycle shops that sell models with two carbs, or look for a motorcycle parts supply on the internet for a split choke assembly... mine needs replacing as well so I'll let you know what I find.

Due to the recent development of the light sport RV-12, Van's Aircraft has developed what looks to be a solid choke pull for the cockpit. The new -12 is using the Rotax 912s. I just got a brief look at it, but it is said to make the pull a little easier...I'm looking into it.
