well i am for sure a old pilot....but have not landed with a flat tire....what you did worked so it was ok .....but did you check the tires prior to take-off? if not you should....On my firestar the tires were sort of old when I purchased it and I noticed a slow leak in one....I replaced both tires with new tires and tubes...I think it pays to keep good tires on a plane...I check tires on pre flight by stepping on them....glad things worked ok for you...
