				Hi Kelley;

  I have installed the LP glass - twice on CJ’s. Very good product.
  Was not aware that Desser handled plexiglas.

				Hi;

 I will assume you are referring to the CJ6 canopy and not the Yak 52,etc.
 They MAY be the same but I don't really know.

 So, to remove the front slider on the CJ6:

 There are 3 bearings on each side riding in the tracks. Those bearings
 will remain in the track with the canopy removed.
  	  | Quote: | From inside the cockpit locate a hole on each side of the slider track area
 (bottom) closer to the aft end. Holes approx. 8-9 mm (5/16-11/32") in dia.
 |
 These are screwdriver access holes to the head of the bearing retaining
 screws.

 There is a special wrench to remove the oval shaped nut from each screw. I
 would assume Doug Sapp will have that. You need it.
 You also need a blade type screwdriver either brand new or in perfect
 condition with the following features:
 Blade width approx. 7 to 8 mm, blade thickness 0.5 to 0.75 mm (0.020 to
 0.030 ins.) at screw contact. If you can't find one this thin carefully
 grind one to fit.

  	  | Quote: | From here it is a two man operation.
 One in the cockpit to line up each bearing screw to the access hole and hold
 |
 the head with the screwdriver while the nut is removed.
 With all 6 nuts & washers removed, one man on each side to, ONE SIDE AT A
 TIME, spring the canopy frame clear of the bearing bolts and remove.

 Walt
